OUT with the old IN with the new
For a few years now we have had a crippled table and chairs that we use all the time. It puts a bit of stress on family meal times whenever Dad is always trying to make sure the table doesn't get too much pressure put on it. And if you leaned on it much it WAS too much pressure due to the weak leg structure. I have been looking for a large table, that wouldn't break the bank, to replace it but they can be a little hard to come by. So last weekend when I found a large table with ten chairs that was very similar to what I had in mind for a replacement, I was very happy. And me being the jew that my husband accuses me of being ,I even got it for a bit less than they were asking.

The finish on the top has been through it, too.

This is with one leaf in so we still have the option of adding one more leaf than shown here. This new one has room for about 5 more seats than the old when it is completely extended.
